The Technology This journal is published almost entirely by hand. With paste-up boards and graphic art tape. The computers involved consist of a hand built Pentium 166 (64MB RAM, 4 GB HD, 4MB VideoRAM, US Robotics x2 56k Modem) and a Cryix 586DX100, both running Windows 95. Our web server is a Intel Pentium 133 running Windows NT 4.0 with 128 MB of RAM, 5.5 GB HD, Shared T1, running Microsofts IIS & Netscapes Commerce Server, Progressive Networks RealServer 4.0, and WebTrends Statistical Reporting. All text is printed on a Hewlett Packard LaserJet 5P printer. A Mustek MFS-12000SP scanner and Snappy video capture system for input. The clip art comes from vintage magazines and books.
