Why RSS?Well for a lack of
better words, it is simple. It cuts down on newsletter emails. Readers can
view what they want when they want, no need to subscribe to a newsletter, no
more filling up your inbox. It sits unobtrusively on your startpage or your
desktop and if you see something that interests you then click on it and read
it.
What's an RSS feed?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". Simply put, it's a way for news sites to share lists of their current articles and headlines. If you've been to any of a number of "portal" sites, (Yahoo, MSN, MyWay), that provide news and headline summaries from many other sources, you've seen RSS in action.
There are several sites that will aggregate RSS feeds for you into a custom page with exactly the news you want. There are also standalone desktop applications, both free and commercial, that will perform the same function, available for Windows, MacOS, Linux, and other platforms. Search your favorite search engine for "RSS aggregator" or "RSS syndication" for more information.
We offer an RSS feed so that our readers can embed a little piece of Dr. Suzy into their personal blog or home page, or watch the postings come rolling into their desktop news aggregator. Look for these symbols at the the top of the page.
The pages that you see when you click on the symbols are the actual feeds. In most cases all you will have to do is copy the url: http://www.drsusanblock.com/blog/bloggamy.rss and paste it into the news reader, such as we have done for you with this symbol .
Dr. Susan Block Commits Bloggamy RSS feed is for your personal use only, and are not available for commercial use without first obtaining a license from Block Entertainment.
