After over a decade of broadcasting pleasure, love, sex and sanity on radio and cable TV channels throughout the US, The Dr. Susan Block Show will now be seen south of the border. Starting Friday night, May 1, 1998, the show will be broadcast on Unovision Television in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The program’s host is internationally renown philosopher-sex therapist Dr. Susan Block. Ellen Thompson of AVN Magazine calls her “the ‘90s Masters and Johnson…Ivy league-educated sex therapist Dr. Suzy presents simple, inventive and informative ways to help us all get along nicely…Dealing with a variety of erotic topics, Block’s easy-going, playful demeanor puts all at ease.”
This love doctor is no average advice-giver. “Unlike Dr. Ruth,” points out Dale Brasel in Detour Magazine, “you can actually believe that Dr. Suzy has had—and is still having—sex. Good sex. (She speaks) in a language elevated above street slang, but cozier than clinical.”
Dr. Suzy is also a best-selling author (her most recent book is The 10 Commandments of Pleasure), and the star of two critically praised, ground-breaking HBO specials, Radio Sex TV and Radio Sex TV-2: Off the Dial, both of which scored the highest Nielsen ratings for the day in all of American pay cable TV.
